This racquet is made famous by Andy Roddick himself. It is his signature racquet. Upon demoing this racquet, I find it to be incredibly easy to create topspins and slices. Power comes second for this racquet but the added weight of the racquet give it more than enough power over the standard Babolat Pure Drive. Needless to say, you will be able to achieve tremendous power and spins on serves since it is the racquet that Roddick used to break the serve record at 153 mph. Additionally, this model also features the Babolat's Cortex technology. The Cortex is a system that focuses on the shaft of the racquet and is designed to dampen the vibrations caused by the shock of hitting the tennis ball. This feature is also what makes the Babolat Pure Drive Plus stands out from all of the other racquets that I have demoed.
